The Banshees continued their fall rugby campaign with a friendly against uOttawa's Dev Team, and with 27 women available to play, this exceptional (and growing) turnout is quickly proving that there is indeed a market for women's club rugby outside of the summer season.
As expected from one of the strongest university teams in the country, uOttawa showed up with an exceptionally talented dev side. That match was definitely a tough one, but the Banshees improved their level of play throughout the game, and they walked away with a level of play to aspire to.
The women return for their next game on October 15 with a trip to Montreal for a 7s tournament.
