GAME RECAPS: SEPT 23-25

The Senior Men played a developmental game against the Ottawa Wolves on Sept 23. We lent the Wolves a couple players and had a good round of 10s in the pouring rain. It was a fun match that was good to get some extra game time for everyone.

The juniors went to Twin Elm on Saturday to participate in the WHITU 7s tournament to participate in the Club's first junior-level rugby games in nearly two years.

The Junior Beavers squared up against some very sizable opposition for their games, but they showed determination and growth from one game to the next - they didn't win any matches, but the scores got better as the day went on. The Beavers proved a solid foundation to build on for future growth going into next season. Beaver of the Tournament went to Yann, and Hardest Worker nods were given to Fionn.

The Junior Banshees played against some strong competition, and had some girls from the Ospreys join in for the ride. The two teams had great chemistry and the girls saw their game improve as the day went on, culminating in a win against the Scottish in the consolation semi-finals. Banshee of the Tournament went to Kaylee, and Abie received Hardest Worker.
