The Ottawa Beavers and Banshees RFC are thrilled to announce that our senior men and women's teams have been invited back into the Rugby Quebec provincial leagues for the 2022 season. The Quebec leagues offer us a terrific platform to expand our growing men's and women's program with a full season of competitive fixtures against teams from the Montreal area.
The Men and Women will both have teams in the local EORU divisions to provide multiple levels of competition and development for all players interested in playing rugby this summer.
Pre-season games will be held through April as we prepare for the return of league fixtures that are anticipated to run from May 14 until mid-August (see below).
Practices in April will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at a field downtown starting April 5 (contact us for the specific location). As of May 17, we will transition to regular Tuesday/Thursday training at Glebe Collegiate for the rest of the summer.
A full season schedule will be announced as soon as it is available.
Anyone interested in playing rugby this summer is welcome to join us - you may sign up at any time, but are encouraged to come out to training as soon as you are available start.
