With no off-season rugby to get in our way until March, the Club is pleased to host the first inaugural OBBRFC Ski Club in 2021.
We will be heading to Camp Fortune on Tuesday nights starting the first week of January until Mid-March. Unless you have your own travel arrangements, the carpool envoy will meet at the parking lot at the corner of Bank and Chamberlain (across from the Clocktower) at 5:30pm so we can be on the slopes by 6pm.
Masks will be mandatory for the carpool, as they are for any shared indoor spaces these days. Beavers or Banshees jerseys over your winter coats is also strongly encouraged.
Every participant is required to sort out their own lift passes and equipment. Camp Fortune is offering $199 night skiing lift passes, or $32/night individual passes (of note, season pass holders get preferential access to the hill, so they will stop selling single-night passes on any given night where it's too busy). Equipment rental is done for the season this year, not by the night (pricing ranges from $150 to $500).
A weekly availability message will go out to confirm the day/time (in case there might be postponements due to severe weather) and to allow us to plan carpool seating arrangements.
