Beavers hosted St Lambert Locks in two hard fought matches on Saturday. The 2s notched their first win of the season in a much improved effort over previous weeks. The 1s took an early lead, but we let St Lambert take the lead back through some poor discipline. Thankfully, we perservered to tie things back up on the last play of the game. Both squads head into byes this coming weekend that will provide time for the 2s to build on their success, and the 1s to re-focus after a frustrating match.
The Banshees played their final away game of the summer against the Montreal Barbarians. They showed up and played a full 80 this week to dramatic effect. Defense and attack patters had much more structure than previous weeks, and offensive threats came from both the forwards and backs.
