FRQ away games started last weekend with the Banshees heading to Beaconsfield, and the Beavers 1st XV heading out to play the Saint-Lambert Locks. Meanwhile, the Beavers 2s stayed behind to play the Blues IIs.
The Banshees played a well-fought match against the division-leading Beaconsfield women, but fell short of the win. Beavers 1s handily took care of the Locks in their first away game of the season, taking back the 1st place spot in the Div 1 standings from Westmount. And the Blues IIs only had 8 players, so the Beavers IIs won with a default, then we lent them a handful of guys to make a full lineup and play the game anyways, winning their second game of the day with a score of 15-10 - big thanks to the guys who threw on the opposition jerseys to ensure that our games could still be played.
