We've reached the midway point of the FRQ senior seasons, and the final set of games where all our senior players are playing at home before the men's and women's 1st teams play most of their remaining season on the road.
Banshees 1s played the Montreal Barbarians in a physical match. The women put in a couple tries but ultimately came up short of the win.
Beavers 1s ended their run of home games with a match against Westmount. The Ravens put in a few quick tries and the Beavers worked their way back from the deficit over the next 80 minutes, but ultimately came up a point short (we got a convert, they got a penalty kick); although an offensive and defensive bonus point from the match leaves us neck and neck at the top of the Prov 1 table at the halfway mark of the season.
Beavers 2s hosted the Kingston Panthers 2s in a tight game that is starting to illustrate some of the continued development of a 2s side with a lot of new bodies.
