The Senior Men played their first fall game on Friday with a friendly in Lanark, who came out with some stiff competition. The game was held scoreless at half, and then the Highlanders put in a quick few tries. The Beavers began digging their way out of the hole and ended up stealing a scrum on the last play of the game and scoring the game winning try. It was a super fun game to play in and sets the tone for a great fall season to come.
The Junior Beavers played in a 7s tournament at Twin Elm. They had three games (vs. Ospreys, Scottish, and Blues). Although the boys didn't come away with any wins, they have gained some insight into how rugby 7s works. Junior 7s will carry through to the end of the month when the season concludes with the annual WHITU 7s tournament.
